Booking
A deposit of £100 per person is required at the time of booking for any of the Snowride Mountain Adventures. The balance is fully payable 56 days prior to the commencement of the mountain adventure. In the event of a booking being made within 56 days of the commencement of the mountain adventure, the full fee is payable. On receipt of your final invoice, please check that all details are correct and inform us immediately in the event of any discrepancies.
Prices
The prices for the mountain adventure are correct at the time of publication (we reserve the right to modify the prices due to currency fluctions) and include one days orientation by Snowride, services of a UIAGM qualified mountain guide, use of safety equipment ( which must be used.) There are no refunds for any part of the Snowride experience which is unused during your event.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation the following applies
> 56 days — full refund of all fees paid
43-56 days — 80% refund of all fees paid
29-42 days — 60% refund of all fees paid
15-28 days — 40% refund of all fees paid
8-14 days — 20% refund of all fees paid
0-7 days — no refund available
Snowride Mountain Adventure reserve the right to cancel up to 57 days prior to the date of the commencement. A full refund of all fees will be paid. In the unlikely event of a Snowride Mountain Adventure being cancelled, a full refund or alternative date(s) will be offered.
Duration
You will recieve a minimum of 5 hours off-piste guiding per day weather / conditions permitting.
Group Sizes
We aim to have a maximum group size of 8.
Group levels
If you specifically wish to ski with a fellow traveler(s), we will try to accommodate your request. However, groups are chosen on ability and no guarantee can be given.
UIAGM Guides
All guides provided are UIAGM qualified. Their decision is final as to where and where not to ski off-piste during the mountain adventure. Failure to adhere to their decision would be viewed as a breach of Snowride Mountain Adventures terms and conditions.
Your Responsibilities
We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to terminate without notice and liability the Snowride mountain adventure of any person whose behaviour is such that is likely, in our opinion, ski lift operator or ski guide or other person in authority to cause distress, danger, damage, or annoyance to other customers, employees property or to any third party. In all cases full cancellation charges apply and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any cost incurred.
Weather
World weather is becoming more erratic and unpredictable and we cannot be held responsible for disruption to your Snowride Mountain Adventure due to bad or unusual weather conditions.
Snow Conditions
While snow conditions will vary we are confident that for all our chosen dates there will be a large variety of routes available.
Insurance
All participants must have adequate insurance cover for the activities of their Snowride mountain adventure. Skiing or boarding outwith adventure days guided by UIAGM qualified mountain guides are entirely at your own risk. This also includes skiing/boarding with Snowride Mountain Adventure representatives.
Declaration
All participants must sign a declaration that they have the required insurance for their intended activities during their Snowride Mountain Adventure.
Liability
When skiing with a guide, all responsibility lies with the guide regarding participants safety. Snowride Mountain Adventure accept no liability for accidents or loss of life on our events. If participants choose to ski with members from Snowride Mountain Adventure out with the dates of the off-piste experiences they do so entirely at their own risk, Snowride Mountain Adventure accept no liability for accidents or loss of life under these circumstances
Force Majeure
Compensation payments do not apply to changes, cancellations or curtailment caused by reason of war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports and all similar events beyond our control. Further, we cannot accept responsibility where the performance or prompt performance of our contract with you is prevented or affected as a result of such circumstance beyond our control.
What Snowride is Not Responsible For
Any travel delays getting to and from Engelberg, loss of property or physical injury during your Snowride mountain adventure. (Your insurance policy will provide cover for all of these eventualities).
